The GALANA team toured the hotel and took pictures of the various rooms.  These are our photographs of the rooms, taken on a rather gloomy day.

• Any additional rollaway beds (or cribs) cost $25 extra.
• Special rates are also available over Christmas, but this depends on availability, and the rates will go up slightly.
• Cancellations must reach the hotel 72 hours prior to the arrival date at the latest, or cancellation charges will be assessed.
  

Moderate room (city view; 1-2 guests): $57.00

Moderate room with ocean view (1-2 guests): $65.00

Studio Superior with kitchenette (city view; 1-4 guests): $67.00

How to reserve

Download the special reservation form here, fill it out, and fax it to the hotel: (808) 924-1982.  Book early.  They will begin to release the block of rooms on 15 November 2004.  Make sure you reserve before then.  Special rates are also available over Christmas, but this depends on availability, and the rates will go up slightly.

Comments

• Located near the center of Waikiki near the Aquarium (where one of the dinner receptions will be held)
• Clean and reasonably priced.
• Two blocks to the beach.
• This is a good choice for a budget-conscious person.  While the building and furnishings are old, the service is good and the price is excellent.  At this price, we would suggest Lincoln Hall on the UH campus as a first choice, but if all the rooms are taken in Lincoln Hall, this could be a good second choice.
