  • Length: 12 pages
  • Paper size: US Letter
  • Formatting requirements: We are using the MITWPL style sheet which you can download by clicking on the link.
  • Fonts: The default font for submission is 'Times'. Please avoid the use of any other fonts.
If you need to use IPA symbols, please use the SIL Encore IPA fonts, which you can download by clicking on the link. If, however, you need to use fonts other than these, please let us know so that we can install the required fonts on our local computer.
  • If you have any questions or concerns, or if you need any help with the style sheet, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Information about the style sheet:

  • The easiest way to apply the correct format to your own submission is to download the MITWPL style sheet document, which is a MS Word document, and to paste your text into it. All styles are pre-defined in this document, so that you don't have to worry about the font type, font size, line spacing, character spacing, etc. All you have to do is assign the appropriate style to the different parts of your text (body text, examples, headings, references, etc.).
