Research and Teaching Labs
Most laboratory Linguistics research at UH is conducted in the Language Analysis and Experimentation Labs, which has four sections:
- The General Lab, housing the Language and Cognition Lab
- The Phonetics Lab
- The Tracker Lab
- The Acquisition Lab
Other labs on campus where language research is conducted include the following.
- The Kewalo Basin Marine Mammal Laboratory houses research on dolphin and whale language and cognition.
- The Laboratory for Interactive Learning Technologies conducts develops educational software that promotes collaborative learning.
- The Adaptive Multimodal Interaction Laboratory houses research on human-computer interactions.
