• The every-other-weekly Cognitive Science Colloquium is an interdepartmental group that holds discussions and talks on various aspects of cognition.
• Da Pidgin Coup is a reading and discussion group dedicated to Hawaii Creole English and other contact languages.
• The Second Language Studies Department holds a weekly lecture series, Tuesdays at noon in St. John 11.
• The Charlene Sato Center for Pidgin, Creole and Dialect Studies has an occasional lecture series, with local and visiting speakers.
