Minangkabau is the name of an
ethnic and language in West Sumatra, one of the provinces in
Sumatra Island,
Indonesia. The capital city of West Sumatra is Padang.
Therefore, Minangkabau language is calledBaso
Padang, Baso Urang Awak
or Bahasa Minang. Nowadays, in West
Sumatra Province or Sumatra
